At the Hellenic Federation of NJ Twelfth Annual Awards Gala honoring Peter Kakoyiannis, Esq. and James Polos Sunday, June 8, 2025, we were honored by the famous Greek singer Alexia. I was very happy to sing with her a song on stage and decided to share this touching moment rather than a long speech.

My Story
|
I am a fourth generation professional jeweler/gemologist/designer, a passionate educator and an avid human rights advocate. I am interested in studying people as much as diamonds and precious gems. That is why I am a certified/graduate gemologist and an academically studied sociologist.
I participate in many business forums and occasionally teach as an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY) of New York.

Brief Bio
Dr. Panos Stavrianidis is a professor and researcher in Greek-American matters and the Orthodox Church as well as a successful entrepreneur. He holds a BBA and MBA from the City University of New York (Baruch College), and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Political Sociology from the Panteion University of Athens. Dr. Stavrianidis has held numerous leadership posts with organizations connected with Hellenic Issues of the Diaspora and the Genocide of Asia Minor and has been honored by the Greek Orthodox Church with the offikion Archon Aktouarios of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. |
